Welcome!
Hello and welcome! On my first post I'd like to share one of my favorite sayings - my adapted version goes like this: One who works with her hands is a laborer, one who works with her hands and head is a craftswoman and one who works with her hands, head and heart is an artist. I use all those skills on any given day in my art classroom.
As an Art teacher for over 20 years, I thought it was about time I paid it forward to all those wonderful teachers who are just starting out on their journey. I've been helped, hindered, mentored and inspired by many over the years! Above all, I LEARNED from them. I hope you take away ideas from me and share with others who will cross your path in the years ahead.
I plan to share lessons, tips on supply management, discipline ideas and whatever strikes my fancy on any particular day! I hope you will check in frequently - I would love to hear what you think of my ideas.
